Wow, again what an amazing weekend!
”To Drift” -To perform an advanced turn in a car involving horizontal sliding of the wheels to achieve a sharper turn angle.

It was our last visit this year to Buxton Raceway, and what a busy one it was! We had Twin Drift Battles on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday
The winner on Saturday after a brilliant battle was Ryan. He beat his opponent to the title and the coverted first prize. Celebrations were had by all on Saturday evening as the team prepared for the next days battles.
Sunday
Sunday started with an extra hour in bed. The clocks went back before the passenger laps begun at 9.00am. We had more passenger rides than ever this weekend keeping us busy all morning. At 1pm the practice begun for the Twin Drift Battles and the competition kicked off at 3pm.
At the top spot was Jonathan Jones claiming his second battle win this season beating Craig to the title. Celebrations and goodbyes as the night drew in and everyone wrapped up Buxton Raceway for the winter.
Jonathan Says:
”I can’t thank everyone enough for coming along and making these weekends what they are. Without all the drivers, marshals, spectators, first timers, gate people and the endless support from the rest of you, these events just wouldn’t work.”
We think we can speak for all Buxton-goers…
….BRING ON 2012!!
