Drift your own car – Buxton Raceway, Derbyshire

Every month at Buxton Raceway, high in the Peak District, Drift One run a day where you can drift your own car. Many of the drifters who come are there to battle it out for points in the UK Open Drift Championship.

We consider this event suitable for experienced drivers, by all means come along and watch if you’re not sure, it’s £10 on the gate to get in to spectate.

It costs £10 to put your own car on the track for the day. That’s after you have paid the £10 entry fee at the gate.

Buxton Raceway is high in the Derbyshire peaks, down a narrow lane off the A53 Buxton – Leek road about 3 miles from Buxton, signposted ‘Dalehead’. Follow this lane for about a mile until the road forks, take the left fork and the track is on the left. The postcode is SK17 0RR. The dates we run this are here: Dates
